Chiropractor in Bristol
When I decided to open the Chiropractic Health Center of Bristol in 1983 I searched several towns in the area that were in need of chiropractic care. Bristol, CT was a small town compared to where I grew up (Brooklyn), but it was large enough to sustain a thriving practice. Since the surrounding towns of Burlington, Farmington, Plainville and Southington were so close, I felt many of the residents of those communities would find it convenient to come to Bristol for treatment.
My office is dedicated to the well-being of my patients. I strive to teach my patients about wellness so they in turn can make a difference in the health of their entire family. It's not easy to change your lifestyle. If it was, everyone would be doing it; as a pilot and black belt in Kyokushin karate, I know the benefits of discipline and dedication. I can help you attain the discipline needed to make major changes in your life. Please allow me to be your wellness mentor and lifestyle coach.
Of course the main reason people usually seek out chiropractic care is for pain. As someone who gets migraines and has been in a car accident, I believe I can uniquely sympathize with my patients who are in pain. As a chiropractor with over 32 years of experience I specialize in chiropractic treatment for neck pain, back pain, migraines, tension headaches and auto injuries. In addition, my experience in martial arts has given me experience with treating sports injuries and the opportunity to treat many patients with them.
The goal for all of my patients is to provide them pain relief without medication and to correct the problem so it doesn't return. Teaching my patients how to strengthen the injured area is paramount to the healing process. The ultimate goal is complete wellness. My training and experience provides me with the tools needed to teach my patients how to exercise injured areas without causing additional harm.
Modern medicine has changed a lot since I first became a chiropractor. Physicians now regularly refer patients to my office who are in need of chiropractic care. I will work with your physician to provide a team approach to your care so that if you need pain medication during our treatment they can provide that for you.
When you first come to our office, you'll need to complete the typical paperwork you find in most doctors offices. What I hope you find that's different is that we treat our patients like friends and family. My staff is pleasant, accommodating and helpful.
