Many people sabotage themselves with negative self talk. I recently gave a patient a list of ‘affirmations’ to say on a daily basis. I thought this would be good to share with anyone struggling with doubt and negative self talk.
SAY THESE AFFIRMATIONS EVERY MORNING AND EVERY NIGHT BEFORE BEDTIME.
- I am NOT a quitter
- I have amazing will power
- I do NOT quit.
- I am very goal oriented
- I am wise
- I am strong
- If I fall, I get right back up.
- I can’t fail if I DO what I KNOW.
- I have no addictions
- I CHOOSE what I eat
Carry these with you. In a moment of weakness, where you think you might get off track. Read them to yourself.
